About us

Hope is something you do.

Phoebe Hearts Hope Foundation (PHHF) is a non-profit in Ilorin, Kwara State. We help the vulnerable and inspire change through education, skills and love in action.

Our story

Spreading hope, one heart at a time

We started with a simple conviction: that hope grows when people choose to care, empower and create opportunities for others.

Across Kwara State, too many children and young people have the talent and drive to build a good life but not the means. Some miss school because of fees or materials. Others finish school with no practical skill and no one to show them what comes next.

PHHF exists to close that gap. Our Annual Summer Skill & Empowerment Camp gives young adults free training in practical skills such as crochet and video editing, alongside mentorship on AI, time management and mental health. We support children’s education, and we take love into communities through outreach.

Everything we do is powered by sponsors, facilitators, volunteers and partners who believe, as we do, that every act of love can become the start of a brighter future.

Our mission

To help the vulnerable and inspire change, giving children and young people the education, skills, mentorship and care to thrive.

Our vision

A Kwara State where every young person can discover their potential, develop it and thrive, whatever their family can afford.

What we stand for

Five values, one heart

They’re on our banners at every outreach, and they shape every decision we make.

01

Hope

We believe every child’s story can still change, and we act like it.

02

A child’s education

School is the surest door out of poverty. We help keep it open.

03

Equality & opportunity

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity should be too, whatever a family can afford.

04

Love & compassion

Kindness has to be shown. We lead with dignity, patience and care.

05

Generational impact

A skill passed on today becomes a livelihood, and then a lesson for the next generation.

How we work

Discover. Develop. Thrive.

  1. 01

    Discover

Young people try something new, whether a craft, a tool or a conversation, often for the first time, in a safe and encouraging space.

  2. 02

    Develop

Facilitators and mentors walk with them week by week, from first attempts to confident, finished work.

  3. 03

    Thrive

They graduate with a skill, a network and the belief that they can build something. Then they give back to their community.

The people behind it

Facilitators & partners

Our programmes run on people who share what they know. Thank you to everyone who taught, filmed, partnered and showed up in 2026.
